Autosave period is reset when the model is saved

Previously, the model was sometimes coincidentally autosaved immediately after being saved. Now, the autosave period is reset when the model is saved, so the autosave does not happen immediately after the model has been saved.

TTSD-66612

Improved triangulation of slab top and bottom faces

An issue was fixed where slabs with Dz1 or Dz2 offsets at corner chamfers could produce incorrect solid geometry due to mismatched triangulation between the top and bottom faces. This inconsistency led to inaccurate geometry, which could cascade to downstream processes, including volume calculation and pour unit generation. The triangulation of the faces is now mirrored consistently, ensuring reliable geometry and accurate volume computation.

New in Tekla PowerFab Connector

Exporting UDAs

Exporting UDAs from reports to Tekla PowerFab is now possible.

TTSD-69775

Issue with submittal to Tekla PowerFab fixed

Previously, the user could not import the submittal package to Tekla PowerFab as the drawing number was not exported correctly from Tekla Structures. Now the general arrangement drawing number and the drawing PDF name are exported correctly.

New in AI Cloud Fabrication drawings (Preview)

Single column for selecting library and template or template's settings file and other Creation review improvements

  • Now, both the library and the template or template’s settings file can be selected in the Create from column. The suggested template or settings file is shown first, for example [BA.120], and the library containing the template or settings file is indicated below, for example, [BA]-[BEAM]. Previously, there were separate columns for selecting the library and the template or settings file.

  • Hovering over the preview icon displays a preview of the template and clicking the icon opens the Drawing library properties dialog in editing mode.

  • Click to show more information about the suggested library and the template or template’s settings file, or to change your selection. There are two sections with small previews, one for the library and one for the template or settings file.

    • The label indicates that the best matching library or template or settings file is suggested by AI.

    • For suggested libraries, the number of up-to-date drawings and the number of drawings in the library are displayed, for example, 324/324. Click Select other to select another library.

    • For suggested templates, the drawing name is displayed. For suggested template’s settings files, the name of the settings file is displayed in the following format: template_name - settings_file_name, for example, [B.4] - BEAM 1. Also, the drawing layout and size information is given. Clicking Select other opens the Drawing library properties dialog in selection mode and you can select another template or settings file. A new column, Settings file, has been added in the drawing list to indicate the settings file associated with each template.

  • If the best matching library, template, or settings file cannot be found, a notification is displayed on the object row, and you can select another drawing creation option manually.

  • Now, if a drawing already exists for the selected object, a notification is displayed on the object row, and the row is shown with a gray background. The disabled rows can still be selected to highlight the objects in the model and to remove the objects from the dialog.

  • When the minus button is disabled in the Creation review dialog, a tooltip is now displayed telling you how to activate the button.

Adding drawings to collection - unifying button names

The OK button in the processing queue, displayed when adding drawings to the active collection and classifying drawings, has been renamed to Accept. This change ensures consistency with the button with the same functionality in the Review classification dialog.

TTSD-62249

Improved library selection

Selecting a new library in the Assigned library column of the Review classification dialog is now easier due to the new colors. When you hover over a library, the library is shown in light blue, and when you select a library, it is shown in light blue with a darker blue frame. Previously, the dark blue background of the selected library made the text difficult to read.

TTSD-70518

Merging libraries

When merging multiple libraries, the confirmation message now clearly lists all of the libraries that you have selected for merging. Previously, only one library was listed, even though you had selected multiple libraries.

TTSD-61928

New description field in Duplicate collection dialog

A new description field has been added in the Duplicate collection dialog, prefilled with the description of the original collection. If there is no previous description, there is a placeholder text: "Enter a description for this collection."

TTSD-69183

Other fixes in AI Cloud Fabrication drawings functionality

  • Previously, when you created fabrication drawings using the AI Cloud Fabrication drawings command, all associative notes would get marked as changed if they contained part position information or other data that needed to be updated between the used template and the target assembly. This issue has now been fixed.

    TTSD-70285

  • Previously, when you created drawings using the best matching saved settings option, any layout overrides defined in the library were not applied to the created drawings. Now, layout overrides are applied to the drawings also when the best matching saved settings are used.

    TTSD-69850

  • Sorting symbols were previously missing from the drawing list columns in the Drawing library properties dialog. Although the columns were sorting correctly, the symbols were not visible. This issue has been fixed, and the sorting symbols are now available.
