About clash types
Tekla Structures shows the type of each clash in the Type column in the Clash Check Manager dialog box.
The following clash types can occur:
| Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Clash | The object partly overlaps with another object. |
|
| Clash | Two identical objects completely overlap. |
|
| Clash | Objects intersect with each other in several locations. |
|
| Clash | The object cuts through another object. |
|
| Is inside | The object is inside another object. | |
| Min distance |
The objects are closer to each other than the defined minimum distance. The minimum distance is used between reference model objects, pour objects, and point clouds, and between these objects and native Tekla Structures parts. Minimum distance is not used between native Tekla Structures parts only. |
