Define input and display units for an estimating job

You can define input and display units for individual jobs. You can select either metric or imperial units and the units of measurement for a piece.

Note: The actual length of the item is not affected by the selection of the input type, only the displayed length.

You are in the Estimating module. You are either creating a new job or modifying an existing job in the Estimate Job Edit dialog box.

Click Input/Display Units.

The Input/Display Units dialog box opens.
Select the measurement system and the units of measurement on the drop-down menus.
Click OK.
You return to the <Module> Job Edit dialog box.
Do either of the following:
- Click Save
  The <Module> Job Edit dialog box closes.
- Continue to add or modify properties.

When you click Save, the changes you made are saved.
