XS_MACRO_DIRECTORY
Specifies a global folder and one or more local folders for recorded macro files.

Macro files are usually specific to the language and environment, and do not run in any other environment or language. This advanced option is system-specific.
First define the global folder, then the local folders. Use a semicolon (;) as the separator between paths.
For example:
set XS_MACRO_DIRECTORY=%XSDATADIR%environments\common\macros;%XSDATADIR%environments\uk\General\user-macros
By default, this advanced option is set to ..\ProgramData\Trimble\Tekla Structures\<version>\environments\common\macros.
Do not change the global folder. If necessary, you can change the local folders.
When you click Access advanced features in Applications & components , you can select whether to create a global or local macro by selecting or . The Local option is only shown if you have specified a local folder.
The macro folder must contain the modeling and drawings subfolders.
