Marvel Saw: Cut materials

You can send a cut list from Tekla PowerFab to Marvel Saw for cutting. This way, you do not need to enter the parts to be cut in both software.

Set up Tekla PowerFab to work with Marvel Saw

Go to Maintenance > Integration Settings > Marvel Saws.

The Marvel Saw Settings dialog box opens.
Select the Enable Marvel Saw Integration check box.
Click Save.

Send a cut list to Marvel Saw

Go to MaintenanceProduction ControlCut Lists

The Select Production Control Jobs dialog box opens.
Click the arrow buttons to move the jobs whose cut lists you want to adjust to the Included list.

To select multiple items, hold down Ctrl.
To select a range of subsequent items, hold down Shift.
Click OK.

The Cut Lists dialog box opens.
At the bottom of the dialog box, click Send Cut List.
Select Marvel.
Browse to find and select the folder where you want to save the generated cutting details and CNC files.
Click OK.

The files are exported to the selected folder. You can view the progress of the export in the Status dialog box. When the export has been finished, click OK.

Next, you can import the cut list to Marvel Saw.
