Set
this advanced option to TRUE to change the measurement system in the model from
international/imperial feet to U.S. survey feet. The unit symbol is the same for both.
U.S. survey feet are widely used by many Departments of Transportation (DOT) in the USA, primarily for infrastructure projects, such as roads, tunnels, and bridges, encompassing all phases from design and surveying to construction.
After setting this advanced option to
TRUE and
saving the model, go to and select one of the following options for Length:
in (decimal), ft (decimal), or
ft-in.
The default value of this advanced option is
FALSE.
This advanced option is model specific and the setting is saved in the options database.
