You can display selected part and
reinforcement properties, user-defined attributes and template attributes in a model view by
using part labels and rebar labels.
Part labels and rebar labels are textual
descriptions that are displayed next to the object they represent. You can define
what information to display in the labels, such as the name, profile, and position
number of the part, or the grade, diameter, and sequence number of the reinforcement
object.

Double-click the
view to open the View properties dialog.

Click Display... to open the Display dialog.

Go to the
Advanced tab.

Next to Part label or Rebar label, in the Properties list, select a property.

Click Add > to add the property to the Part label or Rebar label list.
The Part label or Rebar label checkbox is automatically selected when you add properties.

To remove a property from the
Part label or Rebar label list, select a property and click Remove.
The Part label or Rebar label checkbox is automatically cleared if you remove all the properties.

If
needed, define which user-defined attribute or template attribute you want to
display in part labels or rebar labels.

Select User-defined attribute in the Properties list.

Click Add >. The Part label or Rebar label dialog appears.

Enter the user-defined attribute name exactly as it appears in the
objects.inp file, or the template
attribute name. For example, PRELIM_MARK.

Click OK.

In the Show for lists, select for which objects you want to show the labels.
- All: Labels are shown for all parts and/or reinforcement objects in the
view.
- Selected: Labels are only shown for the parts and/or reinforcement objects you
select.
- Main part for selected: Part labels are only shown for the main parts of the assemblies you
select.
- Main part for all: Part labels are shown for all main parts of all assemblies.
Note that if you select the
Selected or the Main part for selected option, you need to first apply the changes to the view when the view is
selected. Then continue to select the objects for which you want to show the
labels.

Click
Modify.

of the labels, use the advanced option
XS_VIEW_PART_LABEL_COLOR.
