You can customize the dropdown menu options available in the Advance Bill, Estimating, Inventory, Production Control, and Purchasing modules in Tekla PowerFab.

1. Click the Maintenance ribbon tab.
2. On the menu, go to the desired module and select Menu Setup.
3. In the Menu Setup Types dialog, select the menu setup that you want to customize, and click Edit Types.
4. To create personalized menu setup settings, click New.

   With personalized menu setup settings, you can use a menu setup that meets your personal needs, while the default settings remain untouched.

5. In the Description field, type a name for the personalized settings.
6. To start customizing the menu, click Save.
7. According to your needs, do any of the following:

   To	Do this
   Add an existing item to the menu setup	In the Not Included list, select the item that you want to add. Click > to include the item to the customized menu setup.
   Remove an item from the menu setup	In the Included list, select the item that you want to remove. Click < to remove the item from the customized menu setup.
   Add a text item to the menu	Text items serve as headings under which you can place action items, or items that are marked with an asterisk (*). In the Included list, select the item under which you want to add a text item. Click Add Text Item. Type text for the item. This text will be visible in the dropdown menu. Click the new text item in the Included list to select it. To add action items under the text item, click an action item in the Not Included list to select it. Click > to add the item under the new text item. The action item is moved under the text item.
   Add a line to separate text items in the menu	In the Included list, select the text item under which you want to add the line. Click Add Line.
   Change the order of the menu items	In the Included list, select the item that you want to move in the menu. Click the Up and Down buttons to move the menu item.
   Add a shortcut	In the Included list, select the item to which you want to add a shortcut. In the Shortcut list, select a shortcut that you want to use to access the menu item. Click Update.
   Change the name of a menu item	In the Included list, select the menu item that you want to rename. Click the Edit Text button. Type a new name for the menu item. Click OK.

8. Click Save to save the changes and then, click the Close button (X) in the upper-right corner to close the dialog.
9. In the Type list, select the settings that you want to use when working in the associated module.
10. Click Save.
