Outrigger loading design (EN1997/TWf)

This video shows the Tekla Tedds Outrigger loading design (EN1997/TWf) calculation to the Eurocode.

The calculation determines the outrigger load and soil-bearing capacity to determine the size of any required outrigger mats. Outrigger loads are calculated based on the weight of all plant elements and the loading, together with the corresponding distances from the center of rotation. Wind loading acting on the crane jib is also taken into account.
