Handy tip for drawing editing

Do you ever find yourself looking over a drawing and wondering what exactly it is you are looking at? You select the object, right-click and Inquire, this gives you some insight but does not tell the whole story. Instead, did you know that when you inquire upon the object within the drawing, it highlights the object/part within the model?

Next time, before you inquire make sure you have a modelling view open. If one is not open, you can open it from the View list. Now highlight the object in the drawing and inquire, switch straight to the modelling view and you will see the object highlighted. This allows you to zoom in, rotate around and get a full understanding of what the object is in relation to other parts.

This functionality also works for fabrication drawings.
