TSAC-4402 Concrete components

Floor layout:  Single parts (beams) are now created on layers other than the precast layer as always centered in the slot and with the middle plane position.

TSAC-4498, TSAC-3588 Concrete components

Wall layout: Opening offsets are now used when the opening is part of the element outline. Note that if you want to have the door step in only one layer and not in all layers, you need to add the door opening with the door step, remove the door step from the other layers by offsetting, and make the opening large enough to cut the door step off.

TSAC-4831 Concrete components

Floor layout: Detailing custom components created after creating a floor layout are now inserted and modified correctly.
Previously, detailing custom components were only applied properly after you saved the model and restarted Tekla Structures.

TSAC-5029 Concrete components

Automatic splicing tool now supports hooks on reinforcing bars and bar groups. The hook length is now correctly taken into account when splicing is applied.

TSAC-6025 Concrete components

Embedded anchors (8): Sometimes, cutting a part where anchors were already created moved the anchors to the wrong position until you manually modified the component. This has now been fixed.

TSAC-6122 Concrete components

Floor layout: Previously, the end nose maximum length and minimum width that you define on the Advanced tab did not work correctly. This happened when the slab end had a fork shape (noses on both sides) and the total width of all the noses was more than half the width of the full slab. This has now been fixed.

TSAC-6174 Concrete components

Wall layout T connector: Previously, the settings from the Wall layout T connector were not applied to the correct layers of the primary wall when the primary wall had the surface as the first layer closest to the secondary wall. This issue has now been fixed.

TSAC-6203 Concrete components

Wall panel reinforcement, Double wall edge and opening reinforcement: Previously, creating and resizing polygons could cause Tekla Structures to not respond. Now polygon creation and resizing have been improved to prevent this.

TSAC-6247 Concrete components

Floor layout: The automatic cut-out geometry is now correct when the non-primary layer is larger than the primary layer. Previously, the geometry was not correct or it was too small in this situation.

TSAC-4678 Steel components

The UltraZED Window trimmer rail component allows you to create a window trimmer by selecting two rails and a point for insertion.

TSAC-5244 Steel components

Joining plates (14), Stiffened end plate (27), Seating cap (37), Seating (39), Haunch (40), Cranked beam (41), Partial stiffened end plate (65), Two sided end plate (142), End plate (144): Reading the sinkholes.dat file from XS_FIRM and XS_PROJECT now works correctly.

TSAC-5476 Steel components

End plate (101), End plate with compensating flange plates (111): Previously, compensating flange cuts were created only on one side of the secondary beam when the main part was a column. This issue has now been fixed and compensating flange cuts are now created on both sides of the secondary beam.

TSAC-5892 Steel components

Albion Cladding joint rail (59) has been replaced with Albion Standard horizontal cladding supports (73).

TSAC-6182 Steel components

Column splice (42): You can now define slotted holes, bolt assembly, and bolt length increase for both web bolts and flange bolts.

TTSD-49010 Steel components

Previously, you could not select attribute files for some steel components. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-34945 Import, export, interoperability

IFC4 export: The IFC4 export now exports rebar set groups instead of the whole rebar set.

TTSD-44530 Import, export, interoperability

Point clouds: Point clouds are more accurately visualized in certain details.

TTSD-49708 Import, export, interoperability

IFC object conversion: Now the conversion works better also when IFC object contains boolean parts (boolean adds and cuts).

TTSD-38233 Templates and reports

Template output was incorrect when the template had hidden parent rows in a multiple column table. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-47547 Templates and reports

The RebarMeshSize setting in the rebar_config.inp file has been changed so that it now returns the longitudinal bar length (mesh length) before the crossing bar length (mesh width).

RebarMeshSize now follows the format:
="%CC_DIAMETER_LONG%/%CC_DIAMETER_CROSS%-%CC_PITCHING_LONG%/%CC_PITCHING_CROSS%-%LENGTH%/%WIDTH%".

Previously, the %WIDTH% element was before the %LENGTH% element.

TTSD-49962, TTSD-50166, TTSD-50326 Templates and reports

Previously, when inquiring the top or bottom level of a reinforced cast unit or a cast unit with added material, the levels were reported incorrectly. This has now been fixed.

TSAC-4989 Drawings

2D library: The order of hatches and element layering was improved. The 2D library now saves the order of elements.

TSAC-5636 Drawings

View-level dimensioning: The Grid dimensions dimensioning type did not work correctly when two or more grids existed in the model, and some of them were rotated. This issue has now been fixed.

TSAC-6099 Drawings

View-level dimensioning: The speed of the dimensioning has been improved if grids are not included in dimensioning rules.

TTSD-15072 Drawings

Tekla Structures can now draw more complex solids more accurately in drawings. Earlier, the view restriction box could cut complex solids incorrectly, and they could disappear from the drawing view.

TTSD-22319 Drawings

Reference models: Text in DWG reference models in drawings is now shown correctly.

TTSD-37997 Drawings

Section views are now created also for objects that have a large amount of edges.

TTSD-41953 Drawings

Drawings in Model sharing: Previously, read-in attribute files (mark, filter, etc.) did not always work with drawing object level settings without manually re-opening the model. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-42866 Drawings

The Modify button in the drawing View Properties dialog box now applies the current reference model visibility properties to the selected view. Previously, only the current line colors and types were applied.

TTSD-43693 Drawings

All corrupted dimension objects are now removed from the drawing database at drawing opening, and no longer cause problems.

TTSD-45112 Drawings

Previously, very complex geometries were not shown in drawing section views. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-45430 Drawings

Now the Ignore bolt size setting works correctly also for slotted holes.

TTSD-46705 Drawings

Panning in drawing snapshot windows now works better.

TTSD-46732 Drawings

Zoom to selected in drawings now works also for rebars perpendicular to the view.

TTSD-47209 Drawings

TTSD-48524, TTSD-45648, TTSD-45638, TTSD-50686 Drawings

When using outline part representation, circular geometry, such as round cuts and arc chamfers, could sometimes be shown incorrectly in drawings. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-49187 Drawings

Some profiles were not shown in drawing section views. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-49911 Tekla Model Sharing

In Tekla Model Sharing, the connection issues diagnostic handling has been improved and the error messages are more detailed.

TTSD-29959 Tekla Model Sharing

Drawings in Model sharing: The Save as command now verifies the drawing database integrity. This makes it possible for you to open the drawings later. Broken drawings are reported in an error message.

TSAC-1273 Reinforcement

For curved bars with hooks, Rebar shape manager now takes into account in arc length (AL) and arc angle (AA) the extra length resulting from hook bending. For example, when the hook angle is 90 degrees or more, the arc length is increased by a half of the bar diameter at each bar end.

TTSD-48883 Reinforcement

Previously, the bent mesh end hooks with angles greater than 90 degrees had incorrect geometry. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-49664 Reinforcement

Rebar sets: Clicking the Edit guideline properties button on the rebar set contextual toolbar no longer deactivates the direct modification.

TTSD-50196 Reinforcement

Rebar catalog: The value of weight per unit length is now correct with the display unit type daN/m.

TTSD-18509, TTSD-41861 Modeling

When secondary steel parts are copied within an assembly, also the copied parts now become secondary parts of the assembly.

TTSD-42454 Modeling

Now similar precast cast units have the same position numbers when Top in form is not set, and when it is set to Front.

TTSD-42973 Modeling

When cast-in-place concrete parts are shown as merged, the tolerance for showing edges between the parts has now been increased from 0.001 to 0.01 mm. This allows tiny misalignments between parts that are forming a common face, without different part segments being separated by edges in the model and in drawings.

TTSD-44337 Modeling

Opening the previous Bolt Properties dialog box for bolt groups that have very long definitions in the Bolt dist boxes no longer causes Tekla Structures to close suddenly.

TTSD-44433 Modeling

Previously, saving a model with a dot in the end of the model name caused issues because the name was not a valid Windows path. Now Tekla Structures does not allow to add a dot at end of the model name anymore.

TTSD-45099 Modeling

Previously, custom component variables were not correctly sorted. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-47265 Modeling

For the environments that use CRH sections, an oval conical profile ACC_OVKON has been added to the CRH.clb and profitab.inp files, and the profile is now available in the profile catalog. The ACC_OVKON profile can be used at concrete column ends, for example.

TTSD-48004 Modeling

Previously, corner chamfer properties were available when any handle points in beam-like objects were selected. Now, corner chamfers will not be visible for handle points in beams or related objects with only one beam component, and are only visible for polybeam objects.

TTSD-48636 Modeling

Previously, when using the Copy special > All content to another object command, some objects, such as single reinforcing bars, bar groups, and surface treatments, were copied twice. This does not happen anymore.

TTSD-49184 Modeling

When you use the Insert into model feature, the Tekla Warehouse Installer now detects shapes that have similar names to shapes that already exist in the model to better prevent accidentally overwriting the existing shapes.

TTSD-49473 Modeling

The User-defined attributes command is now available for assemblies and cast units on the context menu.

TTSD-49529 Modeling

Splitting a part using snapping to intersection points is now working again.

TTSD-49924 Modeling

The lofted plate reference line functionality has been improved to potentially avoid Tekla Structures to stop working unexpectedly.

TTSD-50600, TTSD-50409, TTSD-50701 Modeling

Previously, the user defined commands were not available after Tekla Structures restart. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-49579 Installation

Fixed an issue where the TSEP package builder failed to build TSEPs that created empty folders.

TTSD-39309 Analysis and design

In the analysis part properties, if Keep axis position is set to Yes - Keep end positions also, fittings are no longer taken into consideration. If the analysis planes are disabled (XS_AD_ANALYSIS_PLANES_ENABLED is set to FALSE), fittings are never considered.
Also, if there was a fitting at a part end, the physical part start or end offset Dx was not correctly taken into consideration. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-42084 Core

Project properties: User-defined attributes related to Geo coordinates have been removed.

TTSD-43269 Core

The XS_MESSAGES_PATH advanced option is now read from the environment.ini file after the environment has been selected. This enables custom translation strings to be used with newer user interface elements.

TTSD-48207 Core

Context menu did not always work correctly when at least one reference model was inserted in the model. For example, the snap override commands in the context menu could get stuck after autosave if a modeling command was active at the same time. The only solution was to restart Tekla Structures. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-19167, TTSD-41707 Numbering

Inheriting the assembly position number from a sub-assembly works again. Now the [ ] symbols are correctly shown only when there is an inherited value.

If you change the prefix on the sub-assembly part, the old value is still used in the top level assembly but it does not have the [ ] symbols around the value. If you empty the top level prefix field and modify the assembly, then the changed prefix is inherited from the sub-assembly main part.

TTSD-40320 Numbering

Previously, with XS_USE_REPAIR_NUMBERING_INSTEAD_OF_NUMBERING set to TRUE, existing objects might in some cases receive a new position number, although the objects were not modified. This issue has now been fixed, and unmodified objects are no longer renumbered unnecessarily.

TTSD-44546 Numbering

Previously, two assemblies might sometimes receive the same position number even though their sub-assemblies had different position numbers. This issue has now been fixed.

TTSD-44574 Numbering

Previously, cast unit and assembly numbering and name properties sometimes showed that values were inherited from the main part even when the values were not inherited. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-50204, TTSD-50268 Import, export, interoperability (steel)

NC/DSTV: Earlier, setting the pop-mark location to the center position did not work correctly. This issue has now been fixed.

TSAC-5756 Import, export, interoperability (concrete)

Export ELiPLAN file (68): Previously, net area was exported incorrectly for some elements with certain types of cuts or recesses. This issue has now been fixed.

TSAC-6113 Import, export, interoperability (concrete)

Export ELiPLAN file (68): Previously, duplicated weep holes were sometimes exported. This issue has now been fixed.

TSAC-6296 Import, export, interoperability (concrete)

BVBS Export: When 2D reinforcing bars had bendings in both directions in recent service packs, the bendings to negative directions were not considered, and were exported as straight sections. This issue has now been fixed.
