Global Settings
Default global settings exist in Tekla Structural Designer for controlling many aspects of the software operation, such as the analysis, design, report and drawings.
To save editing time on a model-by-model basis, we recommend that the global settings are configured to suit your needs. This way, you do not need to change the model specific settings every time you create a new model.
Note: When you create a new model file, the global settings are copied to the model file and
become the Model Settings, Analysis Settings, Design Settings, Slab deflection settings and Drawing settings specific to that model and
that model only.
