Get started with your Tekla Structures trial

Are you ready to access your Tekla Structures trial?

Before you start, make sure that you have completed the following steps, as instructed on the Tekla Structures Free Trial download page:

• Create your Trimble Identity online profile
  You need a Trimble Identity to download the software, access your license, and use some online services. Sign in or create a Trimble Identity.
• Download and install Tekla Structures
  To use the trial, you need to download and install Tekla Structures and at least one Environment. Environments contain region-specific settings, tools, and customizations. You can install Tekla Structures and your Environment at the same time by selecting your region on the download page above. You can check our Hardware recommendations for Tekla Structures here.
• Activate your 30 day trial license
  To start your Tekla Structures trial, you need to activate your license. Your 30 days will start as soon as you activate the license, so you should only do this when you’re ready.

Next, simply launch the software, sign in with your Trimble Identity so you can access your online trial license, and get started!

Ready to start learning how to use Tekla Structures?

To get started with using Tekla Structures quickly, visit Trimble Learn, our online training platform. When prompted to sign in to Trimble Learn, use the Trimble ID option, as highlighted below.

• The best place to start learning is with our Tekla Structures Core Training. This training consists of two courses: First Steps with Tekla Structures and the Tekla Structures Evaluator Course. You can complete one or both of these courses, in any order.
• After you have completed the Tekla Structures Core Training, or if you already know the basics, you can develop your skills by completing one of our free fundamentals level eLearning courses.

Are you assessing Tekla Structures for use in your business?

Although you can start using Tekla Structures straight out of the box, you can also customize it to suit the needs of your business. Here are a few things you might want to take a look at to see how you can make Tekla Structures work for you.
