Troubleshoot Tekla PowerFab

As an estimator, you can now apply a wider variety of job statuses to your estimates without affecting other job types. This allows your team to to build your own set of job statuses to track each estimate through the workflow.

New cost functionality has also been added to Estimate Extras, where you can define cost code and cost type. The following new values have been added to the Cost Directed To list: - Finish - Production - Subcontract

There are now new options to modify the properties of multiple items at once using Global Edit - Selected in Maintenance Estimating.

Not only is the filtering now quicker, easier and more intuitive, but the number of filter options has also been significantly extended.

Just like you can lock your material pricing to a historical date, you can now lock labor standards to historical date. This allows you to update labor standards without affecting your existing estimates.

Estimates often include items outside of structural and miscellaneous steel with related labor. For accounting, you need to track everything that is included in the estimate through purchasing and inventory operations. The cost codes and cost types can now be set to match the expected structure in commonly used accounting packages.

Jobs are sometimes awarded long after the estimate was prepared so it is crucial that your summary includes all the information, including additional costs like rented equipment or subcontracted services. All the information is now available in an interactive window where you can edit and adjust prior to bid. Once you have submitted your estimate, you can lock the numbers for reviewing only.

When importing revised PowerFab eXchange files from Tekla Structures, you can now view the changes inTrimble Connect. The comparison model created can interact with the change management view at the assembly and part level toprovide better visualization of what hasbeen modified in your project.
