ProNest Extension for Tekla PowerFab - Step 4 Nest Results in PowerFab
If you reload the combining run, or close and re-open it you will see the nested parts have been cleared from the list, and the remaining parts that weren't nested are still listed as "Not Combined".
In the Production Control material list, select one of the nested materials. At the bottom right you will see how many of that material are linked to a Requisition, to Inventory or have been Taken From Stock. Click the Links button to see where that part is linked:
The Links screen makes it easy to access any links for the selected material, such as Requisitions, Inventory, or Inventory History. Selecting the line item and double-clicking or clicking the appropriate button at the bottom will take you to the linked item:
In this case, Inventory is opened with the nested plate selected.
Note the first column contains "R-C", meaning this item is Reserved to a job, and is Combined. Double click the highlighted line:
This opens the nest image, with a listing and images of each part as well as an image of what the remnant will look like when the nest is cut.
When the plate is cut, it can be TFS'd or Taken From Stock from a Cut List, from Inventory, from Tekla PowerFab Go or from ProNest. Now the Remnant is available to nest, the parts in Production Control are now linked to Inventory History, and Production Status has been updated.
