Question:
How can I define a local coordinate system for a group in Layout Manager?
Answer:
Layout Manager displays all the layout point coordinates in the property pane in the “Location” field related to the current work plane. It is independent from the changed local group coordinate systems. However, when you export the layout points, the exported coordinates are calculated based on the local coordinate system of the group, not the current work plane.
At import of layout points, the points are placed in the model related to the current work plane. Therefore, it is good to check that the work plane is at the model origin at the start of the import.
