Modify content items in Tekla Warehouse

In Tekla Warehouse, you can modify and delete existing content items, change their basic information, and add thumbnails, details, and search criteria.

You can also use the different tabs of the content item page to add related content links or user comments and modify the content group and category, support information, or release notes.

Tip: If you do not want subscribers to be notified about the changes that you made, select Minor update, don't notify subscribers when you modify the content item.

Change the name, description, or support information of a content item

Go to the content item page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Click next to the information that you want to change.
Add, modify, or delete information.
Click Save.

Add or remove a thumbnail for a content item

To add a thumbnail for a content item, see Create a thumbnail for a collection or content item in Tekla Warehouse.

To remove a thumbnail from a content item:

Go to the content item page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Under the thumbnail area, click Edit.
In the box that appears, select the thumbnail that you want to delete.
Click Delete.

Add details for a content item

Go to the content item page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Click Details.
Click Edit details.
Enter the details.

Use the buttons in the Edit content details dialog box to format the text and to add lines, links, videos, and tables.
To embed a video, click Insert video and do one of the following:
- On the URL tab, paste the URL of the video in the box.
  The allowed domains are:
  - https://player.vimeo.com
  - https://vimeo.com
  - https://www.youtube.com
  - https://youtu.be
- On the embedded code tab, paste the video embed code in the box.
  For example:
```

```
  The allowed domains are:
  - https://alugha.com/embed/web-player
  - https://player.vimeo.com/video
  - https://www.youtube.com/embed
  - https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed
  The allowed iframe attributes are:
```
"allowfullscreen", "title", "href", "width", "height", "frameborder", "alt", "src", "style" 
```
Click Save.

Add or modify search criteria for a content item

Go to the content item page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Click Properties.
Click Edit search criteria.
Select options for the following:
- Product availability
- Languages
- Measurement units
Enter tags or keywords, separated by commas (,).
Click Save.

Move a content item to another collection

Go to the content item page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Click Edit title, move or delete.
Click Move.
Select the collection where you want to move the content item.
Click Move.

Delete a content item

When you delete a content item, all versions in the content item are deleted.

Go to the content item page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Click Edit title, move or delete.
Click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Modify metadata for multiple content items

You can modify content metadata for multiple content items in different collections at the same time. For example, you can change tags and keywords, category of use, support information, or compatible Tekla Structures versions.

Sign in to Tekla Warehouse.
Do one of the following:
- To modify all or selected content items in a collection, go to the collection page.
- To modify all or selected content items in all collections of your organization, go to the organization's page.
To activate editor mode, click On.
Click Batch edit.

The Edit content metadata dialog box is shown.
In the Metadata to change area, define which metadata to modify and how.
1. Select checkboxes next to the metadata that you want to modify.
2. For each type of metadata, select whether you want to add, remove, or replace metadata, then select or enter the metadata.
  
  To include a link to a website in metadata, enter or copy a complete URL.
In the For content area, define the content items for which to modify the metadata.
1. In the Show list, select the collection that contains the content items that you want to modify.
  
  If you want to modify the content items in all collections for your organization, select My organization collections.
  
  If necessary, you can also filter the content items in the selected collection by version.
2. Do one of the following:
  - Click the + symbol to show content in a tree structure. Then select the check box next to each collection or content item that you want to modify.
  - Select Select all.
Click Save.
