Modify content items in Tekla Warehouse
In Tekla Warehouse, you can modify and delete existing content items, change their basic information, and add thumbnails, details, and search criteria.
You can also use the different tabs of the content item page to add related content links or user comments and modify the content group and category, support information, or release notes.
Tip: If you do not want subscribers
to be notified about the changes that you made, select Minor update,
don't notify subscribers when you modify the content item.
Change the name, description, or support information of a content item
- Go to the content item page.
- To activate editor mode, click On.
- Click next to the information that you want to change.
- Add, modify, or delete information.
- Click Save.
Add or remove a thumbnail for a content item
To add a thumbnail for a content item, see Create a thumbnail for a collection or content item in Tekla Warehouse.
To remove a thumbnail from a content item:
- Go to the content item page.
- To activate editor mode, click On.
- Under the thumbnail area, click Edit.
- In the box that appears, select the thumbnail that you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
Add details for a content item
Add or modify search criteria for a content item
- Go to the content item page.
- To activate editor mode, click On.
- Click Properties.
- Click Edit search criteria.

Select options for the following:
- Product availability
- Languages
- Measurement units
- Enter tags or keywords, separated by commas (,).
- Click Save.
Move a content item to another collection
- Go to the content item page.
- To activate editor mode, click On.
- Click Edit title, move or delete.
- Click Move.
- Select the collection where you want to move the content item.
- Click Move.
Delete a content item
- Go to the content item page.
- To activate editor mode, click On.
- Click Edit title, move or delete.
- Click Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Modify metadata for multiple content items
You can modify content metadata for multiple content items in different collections at the same time. For example, you can change tags and keywords, category of use, support information, or compatible Tekla Structures versions.
