Modify versions of content items in Tekla Warehouse

This product guide is for the classic Tekla Warehouse user interface. For information on the new Tekla Warehouse, see Release notes.

You can add and delete versions of content items. You can also make changes to the contents and metadata of the versions.

Add a version to a content item

  1. Go to the content item page.
  2. To activate editor mode, click On.
  3. Click Versions.
  4. Click Add version.
  5. In Version display name, enter the version name.
  6. To upload the content for the version, click Add. 

  7. Enter the version metadata. 

    You can also copy metadata from another version by selecting the version in the Copy metadata from existing version list.

  8. Click Save. 

Change the contents or metadata of a version

  1. Go to the content item page.
  2. To activate editor mode, click On.
  3. Click Versions.
  4. Click Edit versions.
  5. Select the version to change.
  6. Add, modify, or delete the version contents or metadata.
  7. Click Save. 

Delete a version of a content item

  1. Go to the content item page.
  2. To activate editor mode, click On.
  3. Click Versions.
  4. Click Edit versions.
  5. Select the version to delete.
  6. Click Delete version.
  7. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
