Reserve and return subscriptions with the Tekla Subscription Tool
These configurations are available in the Tekla Subscription Tool for Legacy Versions depending on your subscription license:

Reserve a subscription license with the Tekla Subscription Tool
When you reserve a subscription license, the Tekla Subscription Tool contacts the Tekla Online subscription service, and the license rights are transferred to your computer.
You must be online when you reserve a subscription license. After you reserve a subscription license, you can use it to work offline.

In the Tekla Subscription
Tool, select the subscription license that you want to reserve.
Tip:To refresh the list of subscription licenses, click the Refresh button above the list.
- If you want to work offline, select Keep reservation longer to keep the subscription license reserved longer than the default reservation period.
- On the row for the subscription license, click Reserve.
The subscription license is reserved. Keep the Tekla Subscription Tool running while you are using your subscription with a legacy version of Tekla Structures. If you stay online, the reservation is automatically renewed until you return your license.
You can now start a legacy version of Tekla Structures with your subscription. When you finish using your subscription, return your subscription license.
Return your subscription license with the Tekla Subscription Tool
When you finish using your subscription with a legacy version of Tekla Structures, return your subscription license. Returning your subscription license lets you use your subscription on a different computer or with other versions of Tekla Structures.
Internet connectivity is required when you return your subscription license.
