Export load groups

You can export load groups to a file and then use them in another Tekla Structures model.

Before you start, ensure that you have created the relevant load groups.

On the Analysis & design tab, click Load groups.
In the Load Groups dialog:
1. Select the load group or groups to export.
  
  To select multiple load groups, hold down the Ctrl or Shift key.
2. Click Export.
In the Export Load Groups dialog:
1. Browse for the folder to which you want to save the load group file.
2. Enter a name for the file in the Selection box.
3. Click OK.

The file name extension of a load group file is .lgr.
