Check the numbering
After you have started a numbering command, use the Numbering preview dialog to check the proposed position numbers.
After accepting the numbering results and assigning position numbers to objects, you can also check the actual position numbers in many places:
-
You can see the position number of a steel part, assembly, cast unit, or rebar assembly in the property pane.
-
Double-click the object in the model to open its properties in the property pane.
-
Go to the Numbering series section for steel parts, the Cast unit section for concrete parts, or the General section for assemblies, cast units, or rebar assemblies.
The position number appears next to the Prefix and Start number boxes. For example:

If there is a question mark (?) after the position number, the numbering is not up to date.
If you have several objects with different position numbers selected in the model, the text Varies is shown. Also, a list then shows the different position numbers within the selection, and in parentheses how many objects have those position numbers.
