Manage shipping routes for a production control job

You can view and modify the shipping routes used for load tracking in the current production control job. You can also create new job-specific shipping routes or delete existing ones.

Shipping routes determine where each assembly needs to be shipped to. Shipping routes can be used to send items to multiple shipping destinations, including intermediate destinations, such as sending material to an external galvanizer. Items that are returned from one destination can then be shipped to another destination.

Open the shipping routes dialog

To open the Shipping Route Maintenance dialog, do either of the following:
  • In the Select Production Control Job dialog,
    1. Double-click to open an existing job.
    2. Click the Production Control ribbon tab.
    3. On the menu, select Review > Shipping Routes.
  • In the Select Production Control Job dialog,
    1. Either add a new job by clicking Add or modify an existing job by selecting it and clicking Edit.

The Production Control Job Edit dialog open.

    2. Click Shipping Routes.

The Shipping Route Maintenance dialog opens, displaying all shipping routes created for an existing production control job.
