System requirements for Tekla PowerFab server

The server installation can be virtual or cloud-based for best performance. If installed on a virtual server, resources should be statically assigned. The application should be ran from the same network or location as the database installation.

Users and the application need to be able to access certain sites, so they will need to be allowed by default.

Tekla PowerFab Go that uses a TCP port is often concerning for IT sources. It is encrypted and can be restricted to specific IP addresses listed in Connection options to your Tekla PowerFab database once we have a positive test of the connection.

Tekla PowerFab Go supported browsers
Tekla PowerFab Go supported browsers are the following (latest stable version):
- Google Chrome
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Opera
Devices and browsers that are no longer able to receive updates are not supported after September 1, 2023.
Accepted TLS protocols
Tekla PowerFab Go web servers only accept Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 and 1.3 protocols.
