Emergency use when no access to online system

If you cannot access the online system because you do not have a connection to the internet, access to the license server, or an active Trimble Identity, you have three emergency uses available for your machine to access the system.

Do not use your emergency uses unless it is absolutely necessary.

Note: If you have used all three emergency uses, contact your local support.

For instructions for contacting support, see Contact support .

Example: No internet access or loss of internet access

When you lose internet access, you get the following message:

  1. Click OK to close the message.
  2. Delete the text in the Configuration field.

  3. Type in your username and password and click Log In.

You are asked to confirm the sign-in.

  4. Click No.

You get a message saying "HTTP request failed".

  5. Click OK.

You are asked to confirm the use of one emergency use.

  6. To confirm the emergency use, click Yes.

Example: Your Trimble Identity is inactive or not created

For an inactive Trimble Identity you get the sign-in window, but when you close it without signing in, you get the "Trimble Identity login canceled" message.

  1. Delete the text in the Configuration field.

  2. Type in your username and password and click Log In.

You are asked to confirm the sign-in.

  3. Click No.

You get a message saying "Invalid configuration".

  4. Click OK.

You are asked to confirm the use of one emergency use.

  5. To confirm the emergency use, click Yes.
