'VBL File Error' message relating to Temp .vbl files

Information

If you are getting a 'VBL File Error' message in both Tedds and Tedds for Word, as shown below, that just displays a path to a temporary .vbl file in their Temp folder then it sounds like your antivirus is interfering with Tedds.  This can happen whenever existing or new calculations are run. In addition to this, when adding new calculations into documents in Tedds for Word you may also see a 'Server Busy' dialog appear.

Solution

Please try adding TeddsCalc.exe & the LibraryAccessSystem.exe (both found in the Tedds application directory) to the trusted processes in your antivirus program. If this does not resolve the issue you may be required to white listing the vbl file extension.
