Procedure for activating your 2018 Tekla Structures Licence

The following steps will guide you through the correct procedure for activating your 2018 Tekla Structures Licence.
- Open the Tekla Structures License Administration Tool,
Start > All Programs > Tekla Structures Licensing > Tekla Structures License Administration Tool
- Deactivate all old licences, select the licence and click the Deactivate button located on the top toolbar

- Uninstall the Tekla Structures License Administration Tool from your pc/server, open your Control Panel
- In the view by dropdown menu, select Category
- Click on Uninstall a program

- Select the Tekla Structures License Server 2017
- Click Uninstall

- Temporarily deactivate all your anti virus software
- Download the new Tekla Structures License Server 2017
- Run the .TsLicSrvSetup_2017.exe file to install the new Tekla Structures License Administration Tool
- You will now need the Entitlement email you have received. Save the attached EntitlementCertificate.html file in the following folder, C:\TeklaStructures\License\Server
- Open the new Tekla Structures License Administration Tool,
Start > All Programs > Tekla Structures Licensing > Tekla Structures License Administration Tool - Click the Open... button located on the top toolbar. This will take you to the license\server folder

- Select your new licence, EntitlementCertificate.html
- Click Open

- Select the number of licenses you want to activate from the dropdown menu
- Click the Activate button located on the top toolbar

Your license will display in the bottom Activated Licenses box.
- Make sure the Notify Server button located on the top toolbar is displaying a green symbol
