Manual wind loads
Wind loads can be applied directly to the structure if required, using panel, member, nodal, or diaphragm loads.
For example, in the model below the wind load has been manually input as 3 diaphragm loads (centrally placed at the edge of each diaphragm).
Diaphragm loading is commonly used to apply the loads returned from wind tunnel testing; Tekla Structural Designer permits the easy flow of information required for this, including:

transfer of information out from Tekla Structural Designer to the wind specialists
- copy/paste functionality to support the rapid application of loads returned
