About the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role

Only users who have the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role can create, edit, and delete the content of their company account. The users can be employees in the account or external license users.

Users who have the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role have the same access rights to both public and private collections belonging to the account.

This table compares the access rights for employees without the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role, employees with the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role, and external license users with the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role.

Tekla administrators assign the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role to users in the Tekla Online Admin Tool. For more information, see Manage user accounts for Tekla products. Administrators can assign the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role to users from their own company account, users from other company accounts, or users who do not belong to any company account.

Tekla administrators do not have the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role by default. If you or other administrators need to create, edit, and delete your company account's Tekla Warehouse content, assign the Tekla Warehouse Content Editor role to yourself or to the other administrators.
