Archive and delete shared models in the Management Console
As an administrator, you can archive and delete shared models to keep the list of your organization's shared models up to date in the Management Console.
Archive completed Tekla Model Sharing projects
When users in your organization have completed a Tekla Model Sharing project, we recommend that you archive your project.
Archiving Tekla Model Sharing projects means that you save a copy of the projects outside of the Tekla Model Sharing service. If you want to keep permanent copies of your shared models, we recommend that you archive your completed projects.
After you archive your completed projects, you can later open your saved copies of the models without signing in to the Tekla Model Sharing service. Keeping saved copies of your models ensures that you are still able to open the models if:
-
The Tekla Structures version with which you created them has reached end of life.
For technical and security reasons, Tekla Structures versions periodically reach end of life as described in the Tekla Software Lifecycle Policy.
Tekla Structures versions that have reached end of life can no longer connect to Tekla Model Sharing after the end of access date specified in the end of life announcement.
-
You discontinue your Tekla Model Sharing subscriptions.
If you discontinue your Tekla Model Sharing subscriptions, your data remains available in the Tekla Model Sharing service for 6 months. If you do not renew your Tekla Model Sharing subscriptions during this period, your data is deleted.
