Import ProNest cut lists to Tekla PowerFab

You can import cut lists available in the ProNest nesting software to Tekla PowerFab. By importing cut lists, you receive information on the scrap of a ProNest nesting process to inventory.

Before sending cut lists to Tekla PowerFab, send the nest to CNC in ProNest.

In the Inventory dialog box, click the Inventory ribbon tab.
On the menu, select Import > ProNest Cut List.

Tekla PowerFab imports the cut lists that are available in ProNest.
See the progress of the import in the Import dialog box.

When the import is completed, click Open Import Log to view, print, or save the import log.
To close the dialog box, click Close (X) in the upper-right corner.

Once a cut list is imported, it can be cut in Tekla PowerFab. This way, you can remove the used plate from inventory and add the proper scrap.
