Question:
In a large project, we suddenly can not start Task Manager, it just shows “Loading...” without any progress. In some cases the following critical error appears while opening: "System.OverflowException: Number of children of a hierarchic object exceeds the limit."
Answer:
The maximum number of scenarios is 255. If you created more scenarios you could not any more open Task Manager in older versions (21.0 SR5/21.1 SR3/2016).
This has been changed in 21.0 SR6/21.1 SR4/2016 SP1 so that if this limit is reached the Add scenario button is disabled, so it is no longer possible to create too many scenarios.
