Manage standard clips
In Standard Clips Maintenance, you can modify existing standard clips, and add material items and additional labor for weld, burn, drill, and punch to standard clips. Note that standard clips are only used if you have selected the Auto Clip-Angles check box in Fabricator Information. If necessary, you can also modify the standard clips on a job by job basis.

Click the Maintenance ribbon tab.

On the menu, select .
The Standard Clips Maintenance dialog box opens.
You can see the labor time in man hours and the weight of the selected item in the top right corner of the dialog box.
Modify the properties of standard clips
Add additional labor or material items to a standard clip
- In the list on the left, select the standard clip.
- Under the Additional Labor list, click New.
- Determine the quantity, operation, thickness, operation type, and length.
- Click Add.
- To update the standard clip properties, click Save below the list of standard clips.
The additional labor is added to the clip. You can see the labor time of the additional labor at the bottom right corner of the dialog box.
Modify additional labor or material items
- In the list on the left, select the standard clip.
- In the Additional Labor list, select the desired item.
- Change the quantity, operation, thickness, operation type, or length.
- To save the changes, click Save under the Additional Labor list.
- To update the standard clip properties, click Save below the list of standard clips.
Delete additional labor or material items
- In the list on the left, select the standard clip.
- In the Additional Labor list, select the desired item.
- Click Delete to permanently delete the item.
- To update the standard clip properties, click Save below the list of standard clips.
