Adjust the spell-checking settings

Tekla EPM has a spell checking tool that allows you to spell-check the text that you write in input fields. Automatic spell checking is enabled by default in Project Management for subject lines and body texts. You can also perform spell checking manually in any input field in any Tekla EPM module.

Perform spell checking

  1. In Tekla EPM, click the mouse pointer in the field whose text you want to spell-check.
  2. Press Ctrl+S on the keyboard.

Tekla EPM spell-checks the text in the current field.

  3. If you need to add a new word to the dictionary, so that the spell checking tool will recognize it in the future, right-click the word and select Add.

New words are saved in the tekla-epm.dic file C:\Users\Public\Documents\Tekla\Tekla EPM\Settings\. Do not edit the tekla-epm.dic file manually.

Disable spell checking

  1. Ensure that Tekla EPM is closed.
  2. Go to the ..\Program Files (x86)\Tekla\Tekla EPM folder.
  3. Find and open the settings.ini file in a text editor.
