Here is a collection of tutorials on the fundamentals of modeling in Tekla Structural Designer. You can save this link to your favorites and use it as the launch page to view the TSD Modeling Fundamentals training videos.

The tutorial series will begin with an overview of the graphical user interface and how to navigate smoothly within the program. Next, you will walk you through an example of modeling and analyzing a 2D Frame of multiple materials, which will expand further to a 3D modeling example including model validation, analysis, and design. Finally, you will learn how to generate and apply wind loads through the built in Wind Wizard, and how to generate reports and drawings for review.

Before you begin, you will need to download the TSD Modeling Fundamentals Training Manual and the TSD model files if you intend to follow along. You can download these files by clicking on the attachment in the menu on the right side of this page.
