Question:
How to get rid of the following message that is displayed when opening a drawing:
"This drawing has been edited by : user
At : 17.03.2015 16:02:19
Are you sure you want to open this drawing anyways?"
Answer:
It should disappear when you restart the multi-user server.
The error message appears in the multi-user environment if the following things have happened:
User A and B both have the same model with drawing C-1 in it
User A opens C-1
User B opens C-1 (Gets the warning that it is already open but ignores it)
User A modifies the drawing and closes it (Saves it)
User B modifies the drawing and closes it (Saves). The "This drawing has been edited by…" message appears.
If User B selects OK and saves the drawing including his changes, User B will override the changes made by User A.
This means that information will get lost in case the warnings are ignored.
