Stud Wall

Select two points in the model to set the insertion point and direction of the Stud Wall. The yellow handle symbolizes the start point and the purple handle the direction and length of the component.

Settings for the Stud Wall

1. Select appropriate height of the stud wall under the tab Studwall parameters.

2. Set the center to center distance between the studs.
3. Extra studs can be set when necessary in corners.

4. The gap between the extra stud and the end stud can be set.
5. Possibility to set the creation of the insulation or not.
6. The different prefix, start numbers, name, material etc. can be set for the different parts in the stud wall.
7. When the drop down menu for Special Studs is set to Yes, additional settings appears.

8. Set the center to center distance in the first space between the studs.
9. In the drop down menu for Additional Studs, it is able to add 3 more studs.

10. Under the tab Details there is a possibility to set the number of boards.
11. The thickness of the boards can be set.
12. The offset can be set if the board should be drawn back (example: 50) or extended (example: -50). This can be set both sideways and to top and bottom.
13. If Special Insulation sets to Yes, the possibility to change the insulation opens.

14. The edge distance of the insulation can be set and also the insulation thickness.
15. The offset of the upper and lower stud can be set.

16. Under the tab Board prefix there is a possibility to set the different prefix, start numbers, name, material etc. for the boards, outer and inner.
