Automatic splicing tool: Names and numbering settings are no longer missing from the split reinforcing bars.

Concrete stairs (65): Previously, stairs were created with the wrong height when the rounding edge of steps was set to zero on the Step shapes tab.

Rebar coupler: Previously, the Rebar coupler component was in some situations creating separate, short end detail modifiers for each rebar. This issue has now been fixed and only one modifier is created on both sides of the splitter.

Reinforced concrete stairs (95): Previously, when the bottom anchor bars were split to avoid holes in landings, the part closer to the edge of the landing was retained and the part closer to the inside of the stairs was removed. This issue has now been fixed so that the part closer to the edge is removed and the part closer to the inside is retained.

Metsec Std anti-sag bay (23): The Metsec standard anti-sag component now has the option to add diagonal tie wires as part of the system.

Column splice (132): Previously, weld default sizes were set to zero. This issue has now been fixed.

Two sided clip angle (143): Clip angles are now better fitted when bolts are staggered and safety connections are used.

Seating (39): Previously, when a contour plate was used as the secondary part, incorrect notches were created. This issue has now been fixed.

Stiffened end plate (1014): Previously, weld 4 was created on opposite sides of the stiffener plates. This issue has now been fixed.
 

End plate (144): It is now possible to use weld 8 as the weld between the haunch plate and the end plate.
 

Stairs (S71), Wooden stairs pan (S72), Polybeam pan (S73), Z pan (S74): Previously, upper and lower vertical and horizontal plates were getting new GUIDs in every modification of the component. This issue has now been fixed.

Fitting (13): Previously, square notch cuts were created with incorrect materials. This issue has now been fixed.

End plate (29): Previously, the bolt standard of galvanizing holes was applied as the finish property for stiffeners. This issue has now been fixed.
 

End plate (101): Previously, square notch cuts were created with incorrect materials. This issue has now been fixed.

IFC2x3 export: The export of polybeams with asymmetric profiles produced rotated profile segments in some cases. This issue has now been fixed.

Reference models: Tekla Structures stopped responding when you were inserting a DWG reference model if the reference model had a percent sign "%" in the file path. This issue has now been fixed.

Template Editor: Previously, in a row rule, CopyField() did not use the final output value, but used an intermediate value. This issue has now been fixed.

The DRAWING.CHANGES attribute can now be used in representation filtering to highlight changed drawings in a model.

Hole dimensions: The associativity of the dimensions on round holes now works correctly.

A critical error occurred when you used the Undo command after the Combine lines command. This issue has now been fixed.

View-specific dimensioning: In rule based dimensioning, when the Close lines setting was off and only one object was dimensioned, the Place dimensions inside setting did not work, but the dimension was placed outside. This issue has now been fixed.

Rebar mesh view creator: The Rebar mesh view creator now creates a view filter to avoid the inclusion of any bar that does not belong to the current cast unit.

Master drawing catalog: Master drawing catalog can now read object filters and rule wizards from the subfolders under the XS_FIRM and XS_PROJECT folders.

Showing neighbor parts: Previously, turning the neighbor parts visible in the neighbor part properties did not work unless some view property, for example, View extension for neighbor parts was also modified. This issue has now been fixed.

Dimensioning: Earlier, when you copied a dimension that had associativity rules different from the default, the copied dimension points were not associative. This issue has now been fixed.

Level marks: Level mark frame is now drawn on top of the text, and the leader line is no longer hidden by the background mask.

Radial grids: Radial grid curvature is now visualized better in drawings, resulting in better output in printing.

Surface treatment in drawings: Invisible surface treatment in drawings is now handled faster, which makes drawing opening and update faster. 

Clone selected: The Clone selected feature did not always work correctly when the drawing was zoomed out. This issue has now been fixed.

When using save-numbering-save, drawing is not opened until you close the save-numbering-save dialog either by canceling or saving.

Previously, selecting parts by the selected multi assembly drawing selected all parts shown in the drawing. Now, similarly to earlier Tekla Structures versions, only parts or assemblies with positions used to create the multi assembly drawing are selected.

It was not possible to select the parts that had overlapping lines removed if you had set XS_ENABLE_OVERLAPPING_CUT_LINE_REMOVAL to TRUE. This issue has now been fixed.

Hatches in drawings: Dots in the hatch pattern definition are now interpreted as dots. Earlier, dots were not interpreted correctly.

There is a custom line type CONTINUOUS in addition to the default continuous line type in drawings.
The advanced option XS_ENABLE_OVERLAPPING_CUT_LINE_REMOVAL now treats CONTINUOUS line type as continuous just like the default continuous line type.

Document manager: Now Document manager also allows changing the drawing version with the following license types: Carbon, Viewer, and Production planner.

Section views: Section views that are moved to another drawing now adapt better to changes in the model.

Layout editor: Sometimes a drawing size may have shared tables and their positions with another size. This issue has now been fixed for old and new layouts.

The CONTINUOUS line type is now treated as a solid line type in overlapping cut line removal.

Printing: Printing no longer stretches the print preview.

DWG files in drawings: Tekla Structures is now able to show the DWGs inserted in drawings with better quality.

The All files option is now available in the Rich text drawing property pane in the file browser when you are adding a rich text file in a drawing.

In drawings, hidden lines of concrete parts are now fully visible through solid fills. Previously, when the fill hatch was solid, the underlaying hidden lines where not shown.

Drawing content manager: The number of weld marks is now reported correctly in the Mark qty column.

Some drawing creation scenarios did not trigger autosaving in accordance with the defined Autosave after creating every nn drawings autosave option. This issue has now been fixed.

Dimensioning: Dimension groups are now correctly checked for associativity.

Tekla Structures stopped responding when you tried to view a snapshot of a drawing that had no snapshot file. This issue has now been fixed.

Merging rebar marks: The setting One leader line per row for merged rebar marks did not work correctly. This issue has now been fixed.

The cross for secondary parts is now always visible if center lines are visible for secondary parts.

Layout editor: An unnecessary log entry about deleted drawings no longer appears in the drawing log when editing drawing layouts.

Rebar marks: The NUMBER_VISIBLE attribute sometimes gave an incorrect value in rebar marks. This issue has now been fixed.

In drawing versions, it was not possible to restore a rebar assembly drawing using Open as new. Now, rebar assembly drawings can be restored in drawing versions.

Mark template date: When adding a template in a drawing mark, the template date was sometimes incorrect in the Mark content - template dialog. This issue has now been fixed.

Weld marks: Earlier, in some rare cases, it was not possible to create weld marks for around welds in drawings. This issue has now been fixed.

Mark elements in drawing view properties: The list of available mark elements in the Marks section in the drawing View properties dialog sometimes had duplicate elements. This issue has now been fixed.

View-based dimensioning: Earlier, when removing dimensioning points from a dimension created using the view-based dimensioning, the dimensioning tag might show extra objects. This issue has now been fixed.

Copying dimensions: Now when you copy dimensions, user-defined associativity rules are also copied if possible, otherwise the default rule will be applied.

DWG/DXF files linked in drawings: The linked DWG/DXF files now have proper color indexes in drawings, and the colors are recognized in printing, for example.

Tekla Model Sharing: The region codepage check has been improved. Previously, the UTF-8 codepage setting was not recognized when you were joining a model. This has now been fixed, and now UTF-8 is recognized for user region codepage.

Starting to share a model using UTF-8 is now prevented.

Rebar coupler: For vertical bars in a curved wall, the Rebar coupler component created short, individual end detail modifiers for each bar, which caused the rebar set bars to be grouped into one-bar groups. This issue has now been fixed so that a single end detail modifier is created and the bars are grouped correctly.

Rebar sets: An issue was fixed where rebar set bars still got concrete cover information from a part after it was changed to a non-concrete material.

Rebar sets: The adaptivity of rebar set leg faces to part modifications has been improved. When a leg face has equal overlap with more than one part face, the leg face follows the part with the smallest face.

Rebar meshes: The outdated and redundant attributes CC_PITCHING_CROSS and CC_PITCHING_LONG have been removed from the contentattributes_global.lst file. Use CC_CROSS and CC_LONG instead.

Previously, when selecting handles of reinforcement objects using area selection, the number of the selected handles shown on the status bar was sometimes incorrect. This issue has now been fixed.

Rebar sets: Previously, when adding rebar set guidelines, the preview line after adding the first point of the guideline was shown only when the mouse pointer snapped to an object. Now, the preview line is always shown.

Rebar sets: An issue has been fixed with the calculation of bars in a rebar set containing three guidelines. This issue might result in incorrect length or invalid bars, particularly with leg faces at small angle to one another.

Rebar groups: An issue was fixed where a tapered reinforcing bar group had incorrect bar spacings. The bar spacing properties should be applied perpendicular to the bars, but in this case the spacings were applied relative to the tapered bar ends.

Rebar sets: Selection switches now work similarly for rebar set modifiers whether direct modification is on or off. Direct modification for modifiers created by components is only available if the Select objects in components switch is active.

Rebar sets: Rebar set splitters are no longer projected to leg faces when the multi-point picking mode is active. This makes it possible to snap directly to bars, like with other rebar set modifiers.

Rebar shape manager: The definition of the rebar bending shape code 22 has been updated in the RebarShapeRules.xml file in the UK environment.

Rebar sets: An issue was fixed related to the Set as primary button on the contextual toolbar for rebar set guidelines. The button is now only visible for the first or last secondary guideline in rebar sets that have more than three guidelines, and for all secondary guidelines in three-guideline rebar sets.

Filtering: Previously, the Multi-select from model option in the Value column in the selection filter dialog did not work with some values, for example, with "1" and "10", because both included the same number "1". Now, the Multi-select from model option works with any values even if the values include the same character.

Highlighting the matches of the Quick Launch search are now shown in semi-transparent yellow color to make them easier to find.

In Batch editor, the Validation column is now refreshed more reliably when you have manually added new target assemblies.

Direct modification: Previously, the direct modification controls and/or graphics disappeared in the 3D view when you redrew the view. This has now been fixed.

Now, when you hover over the coordinate symbol in the lower right corner of the model view, the coordinate symbol displays a hover over effect similar to the one in Trimble Connect.

Previously, when you deleted a Building hierarchy element, the deletion was not shown in the Undo history list. This issue has now been fixed.

The model template Sample Office Building has been removed from the Default environment in Tekla Structures 2025.

Direct modification: Now the dragging works correctly even if you drag a dimension line or a dimension arrow.

Assemblies and rebar assemblies: After using the Add as sub-assembly or Add to assembly command from the context menu, the message "The part, rebar or assembly was added to the selected assembly" is now displayed on the status bar.

In Trimble Connector, on the Overlay models tab, only the latest version of each model was shown. This has now been fixed, and the list of versions is fetched when a model is selected. 

Previously, in the DirectX rendering, hidden objects were incorrectly displayed as shadows. This has now been fixed, and hidden objects remain hidden.

Previously, welds created with the commands Create polygon weld and Create weld to part were sometimes placed in the model origin. This issue has now been fixed.

Previously, failures in loading extensions could prevent other functionality in Tekla Structures. Now the failures in extensions are more isolated.

In some cases where the computer went to sleep while a model was open in Tekla Structures and the computer was offline when the user started it again, the Tekla Structures toolbar was dimmed and work could not continue even after reconnecting to the network. This has now been fixed.

The message that is shown when a user goes offline has been improved to be more descriptive. To avoid interrupting the user's work, the message is no longer shown as a pop-up.

TSEP now supports version numbers that are compliant with semantic versioning 2.0. For example, 1.2.3, 2.3.5-alpha001.

Previously, when a custom component main or secondary part was welded to a component part, the existing assemblies exploded if that main part of secondary part was the main part of an assembly. This has now been fixed.

Design group numbering: The selection filters in the Group filter lists are now displayed in alphabetical order.

Design group numbering:

• You can now use the Compare UDA options to define whether to compare the user-defined attributes of parts.
• You can click the new Open Multi report generator button at the bottom of the dialog box to create reports using Multi report generator.

Numbering was slow when %TPL:PHASE% was included in XS_ASSEMBLY_POSITION_NUMBER_FORMAT_STRING or XS_PART_POSITION_NUMBER_FORMAT_STRING. This issue has now been fixed.

DSTV to DXF converter: The converter now creates all contour markings correctly when any option is selected from the Side to convert list.

Export Unitechnik (79): Previously, the automatic calculation of the spacer type did not work correctly in some cases. This issue has now been fixed.

Export Unitechnik (79): Previously, when a special formwork attribute code was used, some of the line attributes for openings were not exported correctly. This issue has now been fixed.

Export ELiPLAN file (68): Previously, when multiple attributes were specified for the Plot additional reinforcement option, it was not working correctly. This issue has now been fixed.

Tekla Structures no longer creates unnecessary log files outside the normal working folders.
