  1. Migrate the content of the Document Index, Drawing, and Custom Report directories to the new location.

Migrating the content in other directories is optional.

If the database connection has changed, you get a message telling to update the ODBC connection to match the new one. This is for ensuring that the report viewer connection is also changed.

  7. Go to File > Default Directories and set the directories to the new location.

Document Index, Drawing, and Custom Report directories are critical. The Update directory is important if you want to have future updates running through a system-generated prompt.

6. Update Tekla PowerFab Connection

It is important for those using Tekla PowerFab Go that the port forwarding on your router is updated if the server IP address is changed.

Note: If the server is moved to a different network that requires a change in the public IP address, contact support to have it updated for your site.

Due to the number of varieties of routers and software interfaces for setting port forwarding, we cannot provide specific instructions for this.
