Tekla Structures Evaluator Course
Starting with a ready-made model, this course provides an overview of key tools and processes in Tekla Structures by guiding you through some simple tasks. It is meant to serve as a high-level overview of the product, and so does not teach you how to create models. For hands-on modeling, please enroll in the First Steps with Tekla Structures course.
Explore Tekla Structures, discovering key features, workflows, and ease of use while evaluating its suitability for your needs. Whether you are an engineer, a steel detailer, or focused on CIP concrete detailing, this course offers valuable insights to assess the software’s impact on your projects.
You can customize your experience by choosing between 2 measurement systems: Metric and US imperial. Each system features 3 tailored role-based workflows: Engineering, Steel detailing and CIP Concrete detailing (rebar-focused)
The course contains practical tasks, optional videos and quizzes. By the end of the course, depending on the role and system you choose, you will be able to:
- Set up Tekla Structures
- Navigate and work in a model to create and modify drawings, update and revise your model, check and add revisions, check dimensions, marks, and bills of material, or perform numbering
- Print your drawings as PDF files, export them in DWG format, or create NC files or Quantity Takeoff reports
- Check your reference models and export your files in IFC format
