How can I control the orientation of triangular contour plates?
Which side of the triangle is considered to be the length or the width, or when I inquire the part in drawings?
Answer:
There are two advanced options that control in which direction the length and the width are measured in a contour plate:
XS_POLYGON_SQUARE_CORNER_PREFERENCE_FACTOR and
To use this advanced option, the plate needs to have a corner that is right-angled (that is, two consecutive edges perpendicular to each other).
XS_POLYGON_PERPENDICULAR_EDGE_PREFERENCE_FACTOR
To use this advanced option, two faces of the plate need to be perpendicular to each other (that is, not necessarily consecutive edges).
