Regular expressions
You can use regular expressions in Tekla PowerFab company standards settings across various modules to ensure that specific job numbering formats are followed.
You can define regular expressions in the Company Standards as follows:
- Advance Bill, Estimating, Project Management, Production Control: To enforce a desired format for the job numbers
- Project Management:
- To create requisition numbers
- Time-tracking imports: To map items to fields and to ignore records based on a pattern
- Purchasing/Requisitions: To create requisition numbers
- Purchasing/Purchase orders: To create purchase order numbers
- Order Entry: To create quote and order numbers
