Settings for automatic piece tracking and load tracking by job
You can now enable piece tracking by job in
.With Enable Piece Tracking/Enable Load Tracking selected, every new job has piece/load tracking enabled by default as long as the shape does not have the Exclude from Piece/Load Tracking option enabled in Shape Maintenance in . You can turn piece tracking on and off for an individual job as well.

Model net weight in Production Control
You can now import the net weight as calculated by Tekla Structures into a production control job.
You can customize the grid to display net weight for the following new columns:
- Assembly Model Weight
- Assembly Model Weight Each (per each assembly)
- Model Weight
- Model Weight Each (per each part)
For instructions on customizing the display grid, see Customize the layout of a dialog.
You can also include Net Weight, Gross Weight, and Model Weight in production control reports by selecting the desired option in the Weight Type.

Define employees as shop-floor users
In Administration, you can now identity employees as shop-floor workers by selecting the new Production Employee checkbox.
This selection restricts the number of users who appear in Completed By in Production Tracking in Tekla PowerFab Go and in Station - Add Completed in the Tekla PowerFab desktop app.
This is useful for companies that have a large number of Tekla PowerFab desktop app users who are not shop-floor workers.

Finish mappings in Production Control
You can now add the most common finishes to a mapping table in Tekla PowerFab identifies the abbreviation and maps it automatically to the correct finish.
. Then, you do not need to create a translation every time you import asImports check the finish mappings when looking up the correct finish record. For example, the GALV may benefit from having the mappings GAL, Galv, Galvanized, and Zinc.

Export Files option in Document Index
With the new Export Files option in Document Index, you can now easily export your document references as a ZIP file.

Address Book enhancement
On the General tab in the Firm Details dialog, there is a new button, Show Inventory. It allows you to open the inventory for suppliers who have been defined as Is Mill.

Time and date for documents in inspections
You can now view a date and time stamp on documents that you have uploaded into an inspection.
To add this new column, right-click on the dialog, and select Customize grid.

Trimble Viewpoint integration improvements
There are multiple improvements in Trimble Viewpoint integration to reduce manual interaction in the data export/import process for purchase orders and job costing between Tekla PowerFab and Trimble Viewpoint.
- You can now add more than one company code linked to inventory locations to export to. This allows the use of multiple general ledger (GL) credit and debit accounts for multiple companies.
- You can link the companies to a location so that the job costing report reflects where the material should be charged to.
- You can add company codes with their dedicated GL debit and credit accounts.
- You can select a company code in the Purchase Order dialog.
