Why does PROFILE.PLATE_THICKNESS not output anything for a plate

Question:
I would like to see the thickness of plates in a report, but when I use the PROFILE.PLATE_THICKNESS attribute, it does not output anything. Why is it not working?
Answer:
The PROFILE.PLATE_THICKNESS reports some value only if you see the Plate Thickness property listed for the profile in the Profile catalog. It works, for example, for circular and rectangular hollow sections, and for some CC profiles which do not have separate thicknesses for flanges and web. For plate profiles this does not work, because there is no plate thickness listed in the profile properties, but the properties are Width and Height.
