Tekla Structural Designer’s material databases contain an extensive range of sections, materials, reinforcement, decking, connectors and more for each regional code and country. You can view and manage these databases from the Materials dialog box.

The initial data in the material databases is system data which is protected, so that standard items cannot be accidentally edited or deleted. However, you can add user-defined materials from other sources or suppliers into the databases as and when required. All user-defined properties are fully editable.
