Apply a schedule template

Schedule templates can contain all of the schedule items and attributes required for a typical setup. Existing schedules can be saved as templates and then applied to a new job. The schedule can always be modified to fit the project requirements.

Before you start, you need to create a schedule template. See Manage schedule templates.

In the Project Schedule dialog, either click New or Properties, depending on if you are creating a new task or modifying an existing one.

The Schedule Tasks dialog opens.
On Schedule Tasks ribbon tab, click Apply Template.
In the Enter Value dialog, select the schedule template that you want to use.
Click OK.

The schedule template is now applied to the project schedule.
Click the Close button (X) to close the Schedule Tasks dialog.

The Schedule Breakdown Item dialog opens.
