Add inventory to load

You can add items to a load directly from inventory. The inventory is then taken from stock and the weight of the materials is included in the overall weight of the load. The shipping ticket report displays the additional inventory items.

Before you add an item to a load from inventory, ensure that a load for the job exists. See Manage loads.

Select the item that you want to take from stock:
1. In the Inventory dialog box, click items to select them.
  
  To select multiple items, hold down Ctrl.
  
  To select a range of subsequent items, hold down Shift.
2. Click TFS or press Shift+F7.
  
  The Take From Stock dialog box opens.
Type in the quantity and job number.

Load # appears in the dialog box. It lists all the unshipped loads for the selected job.
Select the load number.
Click TFS.

The inventory is assigned to the load and taken from stock.

The inventory materials are listed on the Additional tab in Production Control > Load Properties, and they will also be displayed on the shipping ticket reports.

Note:

If you delete inventory from the load, you are prompted to confirm if you wish to perform a reverse take from stock.
