QR Version Checker
With Trimble Connect extension QR Version Checker the users can easily check from anywhere, whether the PDF documents, in digital or printed form, are up-to-date.
This help refers to version 1.2 of the extension. See tab page "About".
CS TC Extension package
QR Version Checker belongs to the Construsoft Trimble Connect Extension package.
Generate tab
On the "Generate" tab, the QR code can be generated for any PDF file from the current project.
A PDF files are selected by checkboxes. It is possible to search the files by the file name.
After using the "Generate QR code" button, the dialog with QR code settings options opens.
Generate QR code
In the "QR Code settings" dialog, the position and the scale of the QR code in the PDF file are set.

| 1 | Choose the page on which the QR code will be generated. When the QR code should be generated at the end of the documentation, choose the option to count the pages from the last page. | |
| 2 | The preview of the document. Place the QR code on a position selected page. When single file is selected, the position of the QR code is set to the corners by clicking to appropriate corner, or the placement of the QR code can be precisely adjusted by drag & drop function. When multiple files are selected, the position of the QR code is set to the corners by clicking to appropriate corner. | |
| 3 | Download the file with QR code. In drop-down menu, there is the option to save the file with QR code to the project instead. | |

| Save the file to project. New dialog opens. The file can be saved to original folder or any other folder selected from the folder structure tree. NOTE: When the file is saved to original folder, the file version number will increase. Use "Save to project" button to save the file with QR code to selected folder. Image

Scan tab
On the "Scan" tab, the PDF file with the QR code can be scanned so the latest version of the document is checked.
Use the "Select a PDF file or an image" for the selection of a PDF file with a QR code saved in your device.
The PDF file can be up-to-date or outdated.
PDF is UP-TO-DATE
When the PDF file is up-to-date, the message in the green field appears.
For more information, use the "Open in a new tab" link. Details are opened in the new tab.
In the new tab, the user can find the information about the PDF file version.
"Valid as of" gives the information about the last time the database was synced.
PDF is OUTDATED
When the PDF file is outdated, the message in the red field appears.
For more information, use the "Open in a new tab" link. Details are opened in the new tab.
In the new tab, the user can find the information about the scanned PDF file version and the latest PDF file version. Also, the person responsible for changes is visible.
"Valid as of" gives the information about the last time the database was synced.
Settings tab
On the "Settings" tab, force sync, set how the QR code will be created, and the default PDF destination folder.

| Add company logo | When the option is turned on, select the logo. Choose from the following option in overflow menu:

Check the preview of QR code with logo and choose the scale below. Image

| Add the file name | The file name will be displayed in the file below the QR code. | |
| Add file version | The file version will be displayed in the file below the QR code. | |
| 3 | Set the default PDF destination folder when the file with QR code is saved to the project. Click to the field to select any folder from the project from folder structure tree or select the option to save every file to original folder. NOTE: When the file is saved to original folder, the file version number will increase. NOTE 2: This default setting can be adjusted before the file with generated QR code is saved to project. | |
