This Custom Component creates a sag rod between 2 girts. It also cuts holes in the 2 girts.
 
There are 2 options to control the sizes of the nuts and washers. The first option sizes the nut and washer profiles based on the diameter of the rod diameter. Set the option below to "No" and then based on the rod diameter you enter, the appropriate nut and washer profiles will be used.

A nuts_and_washers_dat file is used to control the thicknesses of the nut and washer profiles. This file is organized into 3 columns; the first is the rod diameter column which again is the driving value. The second is the thickness of the nut, followed by the third column - the washer thickness. The washer and nut profiles are taken from the fourth and fifth columns.

To use the values defined in the nuts_and_washers_dat file, simply enter a 0" for the nut and washer thicknesses or if you want to use a different thickness, enter that value in the appropriate thickness field and that value will be used in lieu of the value in the nuts_and_washers.dat file.
 
The second option requires you to select the appropriate nut and washer profiles from the Profile Catalog. Set the option below to "Yes" and then chose the appropriate nut and washer profile. You must also enter in thickness of the nut and washer profile.

Picking order:
1.  Top Girt
2.  Bottom Girt
3.  Point along top girt where location of sag rod is needed.
4.  Point at the bottom girt perpendicular to top point

Most controls are self-explanatory, however there are three fields that need clarification.
 
A - Use this option to create a 2nd nut at each end of the sag rods; above the top girt and below the bottom girt.
B - Use this option to create nuts inside the assembly; below the top girt (Upper), above the bottom girt (Lower), or in both these locations (Both).
C - This field can be used to set a fixed value, recommended to be the largest thickness value of all girts in the project, that will push the lower washer and nut(s) down the assembly so that Sag Rod assemblies connecting girts of different thickness with get the same mark if all other conditions match; like diameter, length, thread length, etc.
D - This field can be used to increase the length of the rod at the lower end.
