Material Belt-Idler Array
TYPE: SEAM

This custom component allows you to quickly add a material idler array to a truss along a beltline path. The custom component is base on the same reference line (beltline) in order to help with design.

Picking order:
1.  Select 1st horizontal frame member. (Can be either top, or bottom.)
2.  Select 2nd horizontal frame member. (Can be either top, or bottom, but consistent with the first.)
3.  Select 1st layout point for beltline.
4.  Select 2nd layout point for beltline.

Material Idler - Back to top
TYPE: PART

This custom component allows you to quickly add a single material idler to a truss. There may be conditions when the designer/detailer needs to make specific considerations.

Picking order:
1.  Select 1st layout point.
2.  Select 2nd layout point to indicate direction of input.

Material support 1 (bent) - Back to top
TYPE: SEAM

This custom component allows you to add the support structure for material handling. It is necessary with this component to input foundation elements at either a conceptual or exact location to establish the base of the support. The top elevation is defined with the 3rd pick point placed at the beltline. The base width and the bottom elevation of the base are all defined initially by the 4th pick point.

Picking order:
1.  Select Primary foundation member
2.  Select Secondary foundation member
3.  Pick 1st Point (Beltline)
4.  Pick 2nd Point

This component’s base is adjustable by moving the foundation members. Both in the x,y direction and in the z direction.

If the beltline follows an angle other than on a 90, use Auto to rotate the component to a specific angle in the plan.

Material support 2 (bent) - Back to top
TYPE: SEAM

This custom component allows you to quickly add Vertical bracing in the formation of an X into the model between two beams. Select the primary beam to indicate the base and then select the secondary beam to indicate the extent of the braces. The span of the X-bracing is calculated by the distance between the 1st and 2nd Point.

Picking order:
1.  Select handle location of truss beltline.
2.  Select direction using belt as guide.

This component’s direction is based on the second pick.

It is necessary to grab the second handle when adjusting the height of the beltline in conjunction with the truss component.

Material truss - Back to top
TYPE: SEAM

This custom component allows you to quickly add a material truss along a beltline path. There is a representative part included for the beltline. This member is to help with the design process. Layout the beltline with construction points, lines, etc. and then, use these points to input the truss.

Picking order:
1.  Select 1st layout point for beltline.
2.  Select 2nd layout point for beltline.
