Purpose and description
Use Weld path drawing component to indicate the path and type of welds in Tekla drawings using a symbolic line.

Installing Weld path drawing
To install the extension:
- Download the Weld path drawing installer package from Tekla Warehouse. For more information see Downloading an application from Tekla Warehouse.
- Install the file package.
Using Weld path drawing
To use the application:
- Open a Tekla model that has a assembly drawing.

- Click the Applications & components button

- Search for Weld path drawing

- The Weld path drawing dialog window will open. Make desired modifications.

- Click the Create button. (The application window is set to wait, and the dialog shows a progress bar indicating the preview creation progress).

The Close button will switch to Cancel for canceling the creation of the weld path symbols.
- For Part option from Create weld path for list, you must follow these steps.
- Pick the first part.

- Pick the second part.

- Weld path is created between the selected parts.

- For View option from Create weld path for list, you must follow these steps.
- Pick the view.

- Welds path are created for the selected drawing view.

- For Drawing option Create weld path for list, the application will create weld paths for the entire drawing.

- For Drawing List option Create weld path for list, the application will create weld paths for the entire drawing.

- Click on the Delete button for deleting the weld path symbols. (The application window is set to wait, and the dialog shows a progress bar indicating the preview creation progress.) It can be used on open drawings or for those selected in the Drawing List.

Additional information
- If you try to create weld paths in the model using the Part, View or Drawing options in the Create weld path for filed the following message will appear: “Please open a Drawing.”
- If you try to create weld paths in the model using the Drawing List option in the Create weld path for filed and the TS Drawing list is not opened, the following message will appear: “Drawing(‘s) not selected from drawing list.”
